Pattern Level: Intermediate
Depending on your sewing experience, there may be a few challenging elements to making the TrapBEAG or TrapMOR and for this reason it has been categorized as an INTERMEDIATE level sewing pattern.
The tricky elements relate mainly to sewing with multiple layers of fabric and webbing, and zips can be a bit daunting for some. However, the comprehensive tutorial should empower any intermediate sewist (or even an adventurous beginner) to tackle all elements with confidence.
As an independent designer with no business team around me pattern testers are incredibly important. They are vital to ensuring that the pattern works as it should. From spell-checking the tutorial to helping resolve constructional issues that arise, they are simply invaluable.
The most wonderful bunch of testers put this pattern through it’s paces these past few weeks and made some stunning versions along the way! You’ve seen some above but check out the TrapTASTIC selection of amazing bags below! All images are linked to their Instagram/Facebook/website pages so go check out their amazing talent.
Many of the TrapTESTERS are hosting giveaways over on Instagram this coming week, Monday 19th to Sunday 25th October – so go follow them and look out for #TrapBEAG #TrapMOR #TrapTASTIC !!
It has been the strangest of years so far, but I am delighted, slow though progress has been, that the TrapBEAG TrapMOR pattern is now out in the world. It has been incredible seeing the testers’ makes; I can’t wait to see what the bag sewing corner of this world comes up with!
The pattern can be purchased here from my Etsy store. Don’t forget to use the 25% discount code TRAPTASTIC25, valid until 23rd October 2020! Thank you and enjoy!!
