COSYpouch Release!
I am delighted to let you know that the COSYpouch pattern is now live! To celebrate there is a bit of a COSYparty going on over on Instagram, with giveaways being hosted by some of the fabulous folk who tested the COSYpouch pattern.

Originally the COSYpouch pattern, for the small size only, was featured in MAKING, Winter Vol. 4 / GIFTS digital issue. It was inspired by the excitement that children get from having a special place in which they can hide away and store their precious items. Be it their tooth fairy money, that first piece of jewelry or a favourite hairclip, those beautiful shells from a trip to the seaside or the Lego figures they have stolen from their brother...
We, as makers, can add to their delight and excitement; can encourage and share in their joy and enthusiasm by providing a special handmade place for the things that they cherish. A handmade home for a special item gives joy to children of all ages.
The pattern has been expanded to now include three sizes, small, medium and large, and three colour-blocking layouts, DIAGONAL, WAVE and CURVE along with the option to keep it simple. This beginner level pattern is a delightful scrap buster and a super skill builder. The COSYpouch relies on the use of quilting, along with lofted interfacing or a couple of layers of cotton batting, to give some gentle structure to the finished pouch and has a bound finish to the top. Some quilting suggestions are provided - you can choose to follow the suggestions or go rogue!!
