My oh my, you have fallen into a rabbit hole here… so much delicious hardware to be found, and straps, not to mention fabric… this is a dangerous section. You have been warned…
As you may know I live in Ireland, and bag making supplies can be a little hard to find on the ground. But let me direct you to some of our best fabric and haberdashery supply shops that stock bag making supplies, or at the very least some lovely canvas fabrics that you can work with. They are all growing in stock all the time and I can recommend them for quality and customer service.

Each In Complete Stitches pattern comes with three PDF pattern files:
A tiled “print at home” A4/Letter file
An A0/copyshop file for copy shop printing
A layered Projector PDF file for those who are paper free!
———
Advice on printing at home:
Firstly, check the printing guidance section in the pattern tutorial. Depending on the pattern the pages maybe set out in landscape or portrait orientation.
Secondly, please check that you are using the correct pattern file. The A0/Copyshop or Projector file will not print correctly from your home A4/Letter printer. Check that you are using the A4/Letter file.
When printing please use Adobe Reader (it’s a free program available to download here) to print your file. Open the file from your saved location on your computer using Adobe Reader - opening the file in your browser might open and print the file incorrectly!
The printable area of the tiled “print at home” pages has been set up to work for both A4 and Letter paper sizes. Print without scaling, at 100%, and check the test print square on the first pattern page before continuing to print all pages.
If your printer gives the option tick the box that says “autorotate and centre”, or similar. Alternatively select the correct orientation. Experience has shown that this can help with troubleshooting!
Once you have printed your pattern pages, if you need some advice on how to assemble them, check out the information page here!

If using the print at home file you will need to stick the printed pages together before either tracing or cutting out the individual pattern pieces.
Find more in depth help here!
The pattern pieces of every pattern have been arranged in groups of pages of a manageable size. Depending on the pattern options there will be direction on which sheets to print out for the relevant option. Each pattern tutorial has a Printing Guidance page which shows the layout of these pages so that you know the order in which to arrange your sheets and stick them together.
In general I suggest you trim each page down to the page border on the bottom side and on the right hand side. You can then overlap with the neighbouring page and stick them together using a glue stick or sellotape.

An A0/copyshop file for copy shop printing
A layered Projector PDF file for those who are paper free!

Yes please! I would be delighted if you were to run classes or a workshop using my patterns. Nothing better than seeing the pattern come to life!
Each student will need to purchase their own copy of the pattern. If you are thinking about holding a workshop do get in touch so that I can offer your students a small discount code.

Yes! Well, I can try anyway!
All In Complete Stitches patterns are drafted in metric measurements. Seam allowances and dimensions generally are called up in metric measurements. Where guidance is given, it is the rounded to the closest imperial equivalent and may not be an exact conversion. Please note that best accuracy will be achieved with the use of the original metric measurements, but honestly, it is rare that the discrepancy between the original metric and converted imperial measurements is enough to create any issues in sewing up your pattern.
Please find here a conversion chart giving the dimensions used in the APEXcarry pattern.
