  • OUTER FABRIC:

Ideally a heavy weight stable woven fabric with some structure like heavy canvas, denim, cork fabric, PapFab/Kraftex (paper fabric). But do not fear! You can use almost any mid weight fabric; just add a layer of interfacing to add more structure and stability to the outer fabric pieces as needed and you'll be grand! Quantity? That depends on the size of your plant pot!

    LINING FABRIC:

Pretty much any mid/light weight woven fabric!

  • NOTIONS required include:

    INTERFACING:

Optional! As mentioned above you might want to use lighter weight fabric such as a beautifully printed lighter cotton/linen canvas for your outer fabric. A lighter fabric such as this can be reinforces with a good quality mid-weight interfacing such as Pellon SF101 Shape Flex or Vilene G700.

    LEATHER TABS:

Optional of course, but a lovely detail. If adding these you will need a 13cm (5”) length of 2cm (3/4”) wide leather strapping (that is not too heavy so that you can sew through it) and 1 or 2 double faced rivets.
