  • The TrapBEAG is a great size for a small backpack or crossbody bag or a large handbag,tote or purse. TrapBEAG approximate finished internal dimensions: 270mm (10 ½”) tall x 310mm (10 ¼”) wide at the zip opening, 410mm (15 ¾”) wide at the base.

    The TrapMOR makes a fab oversized backpack or tote/crossbody bag big enough for ALL the things! TrapMOR approximate finished internal dimensions: 350mm (12 ¼”) tall x 420mm (16 ½”) wide at the zip opening, 520mm (20 ½”) wide at the base.

  • The TrapBEAG TrapMOR is an "Intermediate" level pattern, requiring a bit of confidence handling multiple layers of fabric and two different zip construction methods. Looking to push your bag making skills? The pattern comes with a fully illustrated detailed PDF tutorial to help you tackle all elements with confidence.

  • DIGITAL DOWNLOAD INCLUDES A ZIPPED FILE CONTAINING:

    - A detailed, extensive, illustrated step-by-step tutorial to guide you in confidently sewing your own TrapBEAG or TrapMOR

    With separate files for the TrapBEAG and TrapMOR sizes the file also includes:

    - A tiled print at home PDF pattern (that works for both A4 & letter page sizes)

    - A0 copyshop pattern

    - A layered PDF projector file

    Upon purchase you will be sent a link to the zipped pattern file that lasts for 24hours after purchase - but don’t worry! Should you need to access your pattern at a later date just click on the original email to be sent a new one. For your own convenience we do advise that you download and save your files securely on your computer upon purchase.

  • OUTER FABRIC:

    Mid - heavy weight stable fabrics such as mid/heavy weight canvas, oilskin/waxed canvas, upholstery fabrics, denim etc.

    LINING FABRIC:

    Mid - light weight stable fabrics such as cotton, quilting cotton, linen, lightweight cotton canvas.

    NOTIONS required include (depending on your option choice):

    - 25mm/40mm (1/1 ½”) webbing/straps

    - 25mm/40mm (1/1 ½”) D-rings

    - 25mm/40mm (1/1 ½”) adjustable sliders

    - 25mm/40mm (1/1 ½”) Swivel Hooks

    - Snap Fixing

    - Interfacing: While the bag can be made without overall interfacing, depending on the fabric you use and the level or structure that you desire, you may wish to interface some areas. The pattern tutorial contains suggestions on suitable fabrics and on areas where you may want to consider adding interfacing.

    - Denim needle/needle suitable for your fabric choice
