The TrapINI is sweet pouch pattern with gorgeous modern line and is the perfect size for a clutch/washbag/makeup bag! The bag features a main zipped bag and an external pocket (with or without a flap). Approximate finished internal dimensions: 13cm (5 ¼”) tall x 24cm (9 ½”) long at the top and 18cm (7”) long at the base x 6cm (2⅜”) wide at the base. The zip opening has clear length of approximately 18cm (7”).

The TrapINI is a “Confident Beginner” level sewing pattern. A straightforward sew with a few gently challenging elements depending on your sewing experience; mainly in relation to sewing with multiple layers of fabric and zip insertion. New to bag making?? Don't worry, the pattern comes with an excellent detailed PDF tutorial.

Upon purchase you will be sent a link to the zipped pattern file that lasts for 24hours after purchase - but don’t worry! Should you need to access your pattern at a later date just click on the original email to be sent a new one. For your own convenience we do advise that you download and save your files securely on your computer upon purchase.

The TrapINI is a versatile pattern and most midweight stable woven fabrics should be suitable. Some suggestions include:
OUTER FABRC: Oilskin/waxed canvas, mid-heavy weight canvas, stable mid/heavy weight linen, corduroy, twill, denim.
LINING FABRIC: Medium-lightweight cotton, quilting cotton, linen
NOTIONS required include (depending on your option choice):
- 20cm closed ended zip
- Snap Fixing
- Interfacing: While the TraINI can be made without overall interfacing, depending on the fabric you use and the level or structure that you desire, you may wish to interface some areas. The pattern tutorial contains suggestions on suitable fabrics and on areas where you may want to consider adding interfacing.
- Denim needle/needle suitable for your fabric choice
